Perbaikan Tuli Konduksi Pasca Pemberian Terapi LPR

Abstrak

Latar Belakang: Refluks ekstraesofageal (EER) berhubungan dalam proses inflamasi pada seluruh mukosa kepala dan leher, sinus paranasal, tuba Eustachius dan telinga tengah, nasofaring, hingga ke saluran napas bagian bawah. Gangguan pendengaran yang disebabkan oleh LPR, sejauh ini diketahui berhubungan dengan disfungsi pada tuba Eustachius dan otitis media.Tujuan : Melaporkan dan menganalisis 1 kasus gangguan pendengaran dan LPR. Kasus: Laki-laki 74 tahun datang dengan keluhan penurunan pendengaran disertai dengan suara parau dan rasa berlendir di tenggorok. Pasien didapatkan tuli campur sedang dekstra dan tuli sensorineural sedang berat sinistra dan suspek LPR. Paska terapi didapatkan perbaikan ambang dengar dan gejala LPR.  Diskusi: Setelah pemberian terapi, terjadi perbaikan tuli konduksi pada kedua telinga. Tuli sensorineural yang masih didapatkan pada pasien dapat disebabkan dari proses degeneratif. Pada pasien disarankan untuk menggunakan alat bantu mendengar agar pendengaran pasien menjadi lebih baik.. Kesimpulan : Penyakit refluks laringofaring berhubungan dengan gangguan pendengaran dan ketulian.
