Pendekatan Intraoral Pada Insisi Drainase Abses Buccal

Abstract


Latar Belakang: Abses leher dalam merupakan infeksi bakteri pada rongga-rongga potensial disepanjang leher yang dapat mengancam nyawa. Angka kejadian abses leher dalam diperkirakan mencapai 9-15 per 100.000 kejadian, dimana infeksi odontogenik menjadi penyebab terseringTujuan: Melaporkan sebuah kasus abses buccal. Laporan kasus: laki laki berusia 68 tahun datang dengan keluhan bengkak pada pipi kanan. Berdasarkan anamnesis, presentasi klinis, radiologi pasien didiagnosis Abses buccal. Pasien menjalani operasi insisi dan drainase abses secara GA. Kesimpulan: Ruang daerah kepala leher merupakan ruang potensial yang berada di beberapa fascia yang normalnya berisi jaringan ikat longgar. Prinsip tatalaksana abses kepala leher meliputi: medikamentosa, pembedahan, terapi sumber masalah gigi, maupun kombinasi dari ketiganya
